Denise Burdon

Denise studied art in her home town of Bradford before gaining a First Class (Hons) Degree from the Norwich School of Art. She now lives in Wensleydale, taking inspiration from the stunning Dales landscape. Whether in colour, or simple black and white, Denise’s hand-printed linocuts are wonderful, timeless examples of this form of printmaking, reminiscent of the advertising posters of the 1920’s and 1930’s, the golden age of railway and airline travel.
