It was half way across on the flight that I first wondered whether my car keys had been stolen. When we touched down I checked my case. Sure enough, they’d taken the keys with the rest of the gear. Fantastic!
An hour later Polly (bless her) was heading down with a spare key and I had 3 hours to spare in an empty airport.
Without the people you could see the airport for what it is. A gigantic human processing machine, but not without a stark symmetrical beauty.
These shots were take wide open and hand held with a Sony RX1.
We eventually arrived home at 4:30am.
